Marketing and eCommerce Manager

Topped Toys is seeking applications to fill the role of Marketing and eCommerce Manager.

The Marketing and eCommerce Manager owns the strategy, execution, and performance of marketing initiatives while managing the technical infrastructure of the digital storefront. This role bridges marketing and systems, ensuring seamless Shopify operations, accurate content synchronization, and efficient execution of marketing workflows. Leveraging analytics and performance data, the role drives continuous optimization of campaigns, customer acquisition, and conversion.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development

    • Develop and lead the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns; monitor performance in real time and optimize based on data-driven insights;

  • Platform Management

    • Exercise full ownership of the Shopify platform, maintaining backend functionality and implementing frontend structural updates;

  • Technical Operations

    • Execute the technical setup and coordination of all products on the digital storefront;

  • Marketing Coordination

    • Manage and schedule email marketing campaigns and coordinate/align social media and other distribution channels;

  • Content Production

    • Perform technical video and photo editing for brand assets across all digital channels, design product packaging, maintain an accessible library of all content collaterals, identify needs for missing content and collateral;

  • Systems Integration

    • Manage technical systems that tie into the website to ensure data integrity and conversion optimization;

  • Data Syndication

    • Synchronize product data to Google Shopping-related services and ensure compliance with policies;

  • Analytics & Reporting

    • Generate and deliver technical performance reports and conversion data as requested by management – daily, weekly, and as requested.

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Customer Facing Support

    • Handle technical customer inquiries specifically related to product questions;

  • Program Management

    • Oversee the administration and communication for the Ambassador Toy Program;

  • Professional Collaboration

    • Maintain professional, direct, and effective working relationships with all team members, including participation in departmental meetings and collaborative projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the company’s primary product category required

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma required, preferably in eCommerce, marketing, graphic design, video editing, or a related field

  • Excellent English written and oral skills required

  • Fluency in a second language an asset

  • Expertise in using Adobe Creative Cloud, Klaviyo, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Shopping

  • Experience with 3D CAD design an asset

  • Experience in data science an asset

  • Confident in making decisions, able to work independently

  • Time management skills, able to prioritize, capable of working under pressure

This position requires physical attendance at Topped Toy’s head office in Vancouver, Canada. Applicants should be legally eligible to work in Canada.
